A two day workshop on World of Works, under the visionary leadership of Prof. Indrani Bhaduri, Head and CEO of PARAKH, NCERT, was inaugurated at PM Shri MICE by Pi Caroline Zoramthangi, Director, SCERT. 

This initiative is a landmark step towards realizing the goals of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 especially to promote skill development and vocational education among school students of grade 9 and 10 in PM Shri schools covering all States and Union Territories.

This unique workshop was designed to orient students towards both traditional and non-traditional career paths including 36 emerging job sectors of Ministry of Skill Development, the global AI trend, that are gaining prominence in a rapidly evolving global economy. Aligned with the Government of India’s larger vision to "Mend the Skill of India" the program aimed at nurturing informed, agile, and adaptable learners equipped for the jobs of tomorrow.
